Reload runs as a Mac desktop app. Windows and Linux builds are on the way — when you visit the download page on those platforms, you’ll see a Coming soon panel with an option to be notified.

Download

Open the Reload download page — you’ll be asked to sign in first, then dropped onto the download screen. The page detects your Mac’s chip and recommends the right build:
  • Apple Silicon — any Mac sold after November 2020 (M1, M2, M3, M4).
  • Intel — older Intel-based Macs.
Both buttons are always visible. If you know which one you want, click it directly; otherwise the recommended button is highlighted.

Install

Once the DMG finishes downloading:

Open your Downloads folder

The DMG lands in your default download location.

Double-click the DMG

The Reload installer window opens automatically.

Drag the Reload icon into Applications

Use the arrow in the installer window — drop the Reload icon on the Applications folder shortcut.

Launch Reload from Applications

Open Launchpad or the Applications folder and click Reload. Sign in on first launch.

Windows and Linux

Both installers are coming. From the download page, switch to Windows or Linux to see the coming soon panel:
We’re polishing the Windows installer. macOS is generally available today; sign in on a Mac to start using Reload, or email us and we’ll let you know the moment Windows ships.
Click Notify me when [Windows | Linux] is ready to send a quick email — Reload will let you know the moment the installer is live.
