# Workspace settings

> Edit your Reload workspace identity — change the workspace name, URL slug, logo, and the default channel new members land in after they accept an invite.

The **General** tab controls the identity of the workspace itself — its name, logo, URL slug, and which channel new members land in.

Owners and admins can edit; everyone else sees the fields but can't save.

## What you can change

* **Workspace logo** — square image. Shown across the app wherever your workspace is referenced. Click the tile to upload.
* **Workspace name** — display name, shown wherever the workspace is referenced.
* **Workspace slug** — the URL-safe identifier. Letters, numbers, dashes. Used in URLs and invite links.
* **Default channel** — pick from your existing channels. New members land here on join.

Click **Save changes**. The Save button is disabled if you're not an owner or admin, or if there's nothing to save.

## Iris

Iris is **enabled per channel**, not workspace-wide. The workspace-wide kill switch was retired — toggle Iris on or off from the channel settings panel for the channels where you want it (or don't). See [Channels → Channel settings](/workspaces/channels#channel-settings-right-side-panel) for the per-channel toggle.

## Workspace deletion

There's no in-app workspace deletion control today. If you need a workspace removed, email [support@reload.chat](mailto:support@reload.chat).
