# Security and sessions

> Manage Reload account security — change your password, enable multi-factor authentication, review linked SSO accounts, and sign out active devices.

Reload uses a hosted security widget for everything related to your account — password, two-factor, linked third-party accounts, and the list of devices you're signed in on. Two tabs in Settings handle this.

## Security

Open **Settings → Security**. The tab embeds Reload's hosted security widget. From here you can:

* **Change your password.**
* **Set up multi-factor authentication (MFA)** — TOTP authenticator app, SMS, or other supported methods.
* **Manage linked accounts** — connect or disconnect Google, Microsoft, and other identity providers.
* **Review** any single sign-on (SSO) connections your organisation has set up.

The widget shows you only the controls relevant to your sign-in method. If you signed in with Google, you'll see the Google linkage; if you signed in with email and password, you'll see the password-change controls.

## Sessions

Open **Settings → Sessions**. The tab lists every active sign-in for your account — desktop apps, browser sessions, on any device.

Each row shows:

* The **device** and **browser** (where it's running).
* The **last-active** timestamp.
* A **Revoke** action to force that session to sign out immediately.

Use this to:

* See if you forgot to sign out somewhere.
* Kick a session that looks unfamiliar.
* Sign out everywhere at once before changing your password.

## "Sign out of this device" vs Sessions

Two related but different controls:

* **Profile → Sign out of this device** — quick, one-click sign-out for the device you're currently using. See [Profile](/settings/profile#sign-out-of-this-device).
* **Sessions** — see every active session everywhere, revoke any (including this one).

## Where to next

* [Profile](/settings/profile) — name, avatar, handle, sign-out-this-device
* [Sign-in issues](/troubleshooting/sign-in) — when sign-in doesn't complete
